After Jackson Wyoming, Lisa and I headed over the Teton Pass into Idaho for a little big hole riding. This was what I loved about the area. You drive for 10 minutes in any direction, get on your bike for 20 and before you know it you are way out in the country. We did a ride the next day where we ran across a group of Peruvian sheep dogs that were moving the sheep up the valley.

We spent a couple more days checking out the area but in the end it was time to pack it up and head to Yellowstone. Luckily the drive was not without scenery again.

Yellowstone once again was awesome. We ended up camping the night in the park and heading out fairly early to try and see as much as possible. Yellowstone is enormous. And beautiful.
Old Faithful, Geysers, Bison, Waterfalls, Hot Springs. If you ever get the opportunity to visit Yellowstone, go.
That evening after a long day of sightseeing, we ended up in Chico Montana. Chico is a half horse town that has one feature. A hot spring. We ended up lounging at the pool for the rest of the evening. It was pretty nice.
Next morning we awoke fairly cool. I informed Lisa that if we pulled an all day drive, we could be home. She voted yes so off we went on the final voyage.
FYI - Yellowstone to Vancouver is about 16 hours via VW Van.
This concludes Mac and Lisa's summer vacation of 2012
