That being said though, the trip is cast. Heading out on the road at the end of this month across canada/usa. Well mostly USA as there is quite a bit of nothing in the middle of Canada. Easy now.. settle down Winnipeg. You have your zoo and that is quite lovely from what I hear.
the plan
The idea is to head out on the road ~June 30 as the sugar momma is gettin' some school at Royal Roads until around July 20. She will be meeting me (fingers crossed) in the mighty town of Chicago. During this time I plan on making my way East through Montana, Wyoming, South Dakota etc with the dog and bikes. Don't worry.. plenty of adventure posting through there.From Chicago we plan on doing a bit of the steel tour, Detroit, Flint etc and ending up in Sault St. Marie. Hey we are in Canada.
Rumour is that Manitoulin island ,(why do tourist websites suck so bad?), is well worth the visit so we will be going through that way and then catching a boat back across to the North Bruce peninsula. Once back in the safety of Canada we plan on hitting the rest of Canada to Nova Scotia. Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Quebec City.
Once through NS and NB, we plan on heading back through USA and New York, Kentucky (I just need to say I have been to Kentucky), Missouri etc.

This is where some help from our friends would be great. Ever been to these parts? Where to stay? Where to avoid? Colloquial phrases such as 'no sir you may not have my wallet?'I feel I need to give insight though into Lisa and I. Probably the best way to do this is via using our own great city tourist things and how we could spend time.
- Stanley Park = Pretty. Can spend .5 days in here
- Robson Street = Its not hell but you can see it from here.
- Granville St. = funky. spend .5 days here.
- Yaletown = Once or twice a year whether I like it or not I seem to end up here.
- Commercial Drive = I will eat here but would like to be served with the cap on.
- Granville Island = hell
- Gastown = Great pubs
- Squamish = Fun exercise
- Shopping at malls = I hate you
